The short kidney pad is excellent for horses which tend to suffer from contractures in the gluteal muscles (the muscles surrounding the hindquarters and extending to the kidneys). It is perfectly suited for training during the colder months. The kidney cover is fixed on the stirrups of the saddle, tail strap. Waterproof and breathable. It is ideal for outdoor use.
